but the five pre-publication reviews at amazon, some by reviewers that I respect,
do suggest to me that it may be well worth reading.
I have previously written that Josephus quite likely knew about Jesus and mentioned him, though also thinking that his TF was later rephrased.
But--perhaps--*some form* of the TF was not used by some early Christians, those who knew it, because of an attitude of who-the-hell-is-Josephus to trust; we got better.
