4.34 Tertullian, Marc. 4.7.9, 12–14; 5.6.7. The Evangelion lacks “Nazarene” after Jesus, which is found in Luke and in the parallel episode in Mark. It also is missing the exclamation “ah!” (a classicizing touch) at the beginning of the daemon’s remark; the same is true of Gk mss D and 33, SSyr, and OL.
