Hence, in the chronological order:
- Jesus is undated in time and space.
- Anti-demiurgist Christians appeared on the scene in the Diaspora. At least a Samaritan, "Simon Magus", was one of them.
- Jews in the Diaspora started to condemn Jesus as a generic Samaritan impostor.
- Someone in the Diaspora remembered that the only noteworthy crucifixions in Samaria were carried out by Pilate.
- Therefore the hearsay was born in the Diaspora that Jesus was condemned as the Samaritan Impostor punished by Pilate.
- Once made the name of Pilate in connection with Jesus, the author of *Ev built the rest of the Gospel story.
- The role of Pilate was eclipsed gradually in later Gospels and Jesus was said to be crucified by the 'Jews'.
- The news about a Jesus crucified only by Jews arrived in Judea.
- The Jews started the hearsay that Jesus was crucified by Janneus, since Janneus was known to have crucified 800 Pharisees.
