Mark 1:12
.
Adam and Eve also were "driven out" from the Garden of Eden, mere creatures. By effect of the baptism, Jesus is "driven out" into the new version of Eden: the wilderness where Satan replaces the Genesiac Serpent (in the role of tempter) and the wild beasts are inoffensive just as they were in Eden.
If Jesus resembles Adam here, it is in virtue of their common character of creatures. In both the cases the subordinate role of Jesus and Adam is in comparison to the creator god: YHWH.
Therefore YHWH is the true dominus in the episode of the temptations into the wilderness.
Obviously this episode is against Marcion.
The Spirit immediately drove him out into the wilderness
