Christian Texts and History • Interpreting a Bilby's quote...

I would ask to experts in English language. Does the following Bilby's quote imply that he agrees with a date of death for Jesus in 36 CE?

The Matthean narrative situating Jesus' birth in the last days of the reign of Herod the Great is not a reliable historical tradition, nor are the censuses in Quirinius. Both are overt and mutually contradictory editorial attempts to historicize Jesus, situate his life within the narrative provided by Josephus, and legitimize his birth and lineage. Critical historians should work backwards from the death in 36-37 CE and use common life expectancy data from anthropology, together with political science evaluation of typical ages for the leaders of social movements, to postulate a reasonable range of dates. My educated guess would be 5-15 CE
