For what it’s worth, Professor Barnea also holds that the Torah was written in the early Hellenistic Era, when (as he notes) the first traditions about Moses also appear, namely in the writings of Hecataeus of Abdera and Manetho.

Reinhard G. Kratz (discussing my work among others) also agrees that neither Hecataeus of Abdera, Manetho or Berossus are witnesses to the biblical tradition. “Consequently, we must abandon the view that these three historians are early witnesses for both the transmission and circulation of the Pentateuch among Jews and Greeks at the Persian–Hellenistic transition.”
