First, to Clarify, Carrier's view isn't really Luke=>Josephus, it's Luke=>Christian Interpolator=>Manuscripts of Josephus.
yes but I see that Carrier is ready to concede, as second option, that Josephus himself copied directly (and "passively") from Luke.
Second, Zinner's argument (if that is in fact what he argues) that Josephus wrote the Testimonium, but it has a derogatory tone, is too strong.
ok but ignoring that part of the Zinner's argument, what do you think about only the quote of the my first post in this thread? Was there really before Josephus an anonymous Christian source similar to what we see in the Emmaus episode?
